. It took the new owner 40 years to realize this. After the 2nd World War it was turned into a hotel but in the end of the 20th century the place was emptied completely. Nobody has lived here ever since….

Yes it really is abandoned! The oldest part of this castle was built in the beginning of the 17th century by a noble knight. In the mid of the 19th century it was inherited and completely redesigned to the state it is now in. It took the new owner 40 years to realize this. All rooms completely decorated and mostly symmetric. From ceilings to floors, all beautifully decorated in Moorish style. There are various signs with the words Non Plus Ultra, what stands for ‘The Ultimate’. After the 2nd World War it was turned into a hotel but in the end of the 20th century the place was emptied completely. Nobody has lived here ever since….
